Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival
Welcome to Phnom Penh, you will be collected by our local guide at Phnom Penh Airport and transfer to hotel for check in. The room is at your disposal from 14.00 onwards. Balance of the day as your leisure. Meals on your own.

Day 2: Phnom Penh Sightseeing & Transfer to Kampot (B, L, D)
A day exploring the highlights of Cambodia’s capital, taking in the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, the National Museum’s collection of Khmer art, and the Killing Fields memorial site, where students learn about the Khmer Rouge period and its place in the country’s recent history.
In the late afternoon, transfer south to Kampot, a drive of around three hours, arriving in time for dinner.

Day 3: Kampot, Salt Farm, Community Orientation & Cultural Immersion (B, L, D)
The morning begins at a working salt farm, where local producers explain how salt is harvested here and what the trade means to the area.
The group then travels to the partner community for the orientation session. The community team introduces where they live and how families make a living, so students understand local daily life and the projects they will be joining. Lunch is prepared by the community.
The afternoon is spent on cultural activities alongside villagers, including traditional cake making and other everyday customs of the area.

Day 4 – 5: Kampot, Service with Conservation (B, L, D)
Two days working on mangrove conservation with the community team. Students travel by boat into the mangrove forest to collect seeds, then return to the nursery to prepare soil and pot the seedlings for growing on.
The second day is spent planting mature seedlings back into the forest, so the group sees the full cycle of the work from collection through to replanting. Lunches are taken in the community, with time in the afternoons for local cultural activities.

Day 6: Kayaking, Kampot Town Walk & Return to Phnom Penh (B, L, D)
A two hour guided kayak along the quiet canals of the Kampot river, with mountain and mangrove views the whole way. Life jackets and trained water safety staff are provided, and no experience is needed.
Back in town, walk the old streets to see the French colonial and Khmer buildings Kampot is known for. After lunch, transfer to Phnom Penh for the final night.

Day 7: Phnom Penh Departure (B)
Today, enjoy free time until transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Room is at your disposal until noon.
Lunch and dinner are on your own arrangement.
End of the trip and have a safe flight back home.
