Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival
Welcome to Siem Reap, you will be collected by our local guide at Siem Reap Airport and transfer to hotel for check in. The room is at your disposal from 14.00 onwards. Balance of the day as your leisure.
Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Siem Reap, Transfer to the Community & Orientation (B, L, D)
After breakfast, transfer to the partner community where the service program takes place, around 45 to 60 minutes from Siem Reap. The villagers welcome the group on arrival.
The orientation session introduces the community itself: who lives there, how families make a living, and what daily life looks like across education, healthcare, and the local economy. Working in small groups, students build a clear picture of why this community was chosen and what the project they are about to join is meant to achieve. The session ends with a project briefing and a walk of the site before dinner.
Return to Siem Reap for the night.

Day 3 – 4: Service Learning Days (B, L, D)
Two full days on the project site, working alongside local builders on the construction tasks the community has identified. Mornings and afternoons are spent on site, with lunch and a break in the village in between.
Evenings are set aside for cultural activities with the villagers. Across the two days students take part in a Khmer cooking class, learn the traditional craft of sugar palm making, and end with a barbecue dinner beside the rice fields at sunset.
The group returns to Siem Reap each night.

Day 5: Project Handover, Farewell to the Village & Return to Siem Reap (B, L, D)
The final morning on site, finishing the work and formally handing the project over to the community. After lunch, the group receives a traditional monk blessing and says goodbye to the villagers before the drive back to Siem Reap.
In town, visit a humanitarian demining visitor centre to learn how landmines are cleared in Cambodia and to see the trained detection rats at work. The evening is a group dinner with a classical Apsara dance performance.

Day 6: Full Day Exploring the Angkor Complex & Phare Circus (B, L, D)
A full day in the Angkor Archaeological Park, structured as a photo scavenger hunt so students explore actively rather than following a guide from stop to stop. The morning covers the walled city of Angkor Thom, its famous stone faces, and the tree covered ruins of Ta Prohm. After lunch, visit Angkor Wat itself, then finish at a hilltop temple for sunset.
In the evening, dinner is followed by the Phare Circus, a Cambodian production of acrobatics, music, and storytelling staged by performers trained through an arts NGO that supports young people from difficult backgrounds.

Day 7: Siem Reap Departure (B)
Today free time until transfer to airport for departure flight. Room is at your disposal at noon. Lunch and dinner of your own arrangement.
End of the trip and have a safe flight back home.
